Escapee Capture

Jason Hall

(Ashland, KY) -- The Kentucky State Police in Ashland have arrested Jason Hall at his residence on 332 Carter Caves Road (without incident) and charged him with the following charges which were related to the original traffic stop:

  • Escape 3rd Degree
  • Assault 3rd Degree-Police Officer
  • Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree- Police Officer
  • Drug Paraphernalia Possession
  • Giving Officer False Name and Address

Hall was arrested by Trooper David Boarman around 9 pm yesterday evening and was assisted by Olive Hill Police Department. He was lodged in the Carter County Detention Center.

(Ashland, KY) -- The Kentucky State Police in Ashland is seeking the whereabouts of 33 year old Jason DeWayne Hall of Olive Hill, KY after he escaped from police custody on a traffic stop at the exit 161 westbound on-ramp of I-64 in Carter County, The incident took place around 1030 hours this morning (03/07/2011). The fugitive was wanted for three outstanding warrants (Failure to Appear) which led to the traffic stop. Hall is described as 5'9", 180 pounds wearing a dark blue shirt, brown carhart jacket, blue jeans, and a black toboggan. Hall fled the interstate into a wooded area near the 161 exit. Troopers and officers from the Olive Hill Police Department searched for several hours but were unable to locate Hall. Anyone with any information relating to the whereabouts of Jason Hall is asked to contact the Kentucky State Police at 606-928-6421 or 1-800-222-5555. Callers may remain anonymous.

The case remains under investigation by Arson Investigator Carroll U/1814.
