Five Arrested After A Meth Lab Is Discovered In Leslie County

(Hazard, Ky.) -- On June 6, 2011 at approximately 01:10 a.m. Kentucky State Police received a call from Leslie County Sheriff's Department requesting assistance in reference to a possible meth lab.

Police arrived at the residence on Muncy Creek Road in the Stinnett Community of Leslie County and confirmed a working meth lab.

Preliminary investigation indicates that less that one gram of the finished product was located along with several ingredients to manufacture meth.

Present in the residence were 36 year old Scott Roberts, 34 year old Dwight C. Hill, 23 year old Ashleigh Baker, 29 year old Fredy Collett, and 35 year old Anita Collett. All of the individuals were arrested and lodged in the Leslie County Detention Center charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Offence along with other related charges. A juvenile was also present in the home and was removed and placed in the care of Department of Protection and Permanency. The investigation is continuing and more arrest is possible.
