Letcher County pursuit

(Hazard, Ky.) -- A 47 year old Letcher County woman has been arrested and charged in connection with a pursuit which happened along Highway 931 North in the Sandlick Community of Letcher County. The Kentucky State Police in Hazard received a call at 11:51 A.M. on February, 27, 2011 reporting Creeda M. Stallard came to a local church where she caused a disturbance before allegedly driving away intoxicated from the church in a 2008 Nissan Versa. Trooper Brandon Thomas along with Letcher County Sheriff's Deputy Crystal Davis who was patrolling the area located the vehicle. However, the driver would not stop and attempt to flee. After a pursuit covering more than 3 miles the driver of the vehicle Creeda M. Stallard was taking into custody charged with Wanton Endangerment of a Police Officer 1st Degree, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct, Operating a Motor Vehicle Under The Influence of Drugs, Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree in a Motor Vehicle, Reckless Driving along with several other traffic Charges. Stallard is lodged in the Letcher County Jail.
