Terry Cram

(Post 12 Frankfort) -- At 3:05 PM today (06/27/2011) Kentucky State Police Detectives escorted Terrence Cram back to the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The flight landing at the Louisville International Airport and Mr. Cram was transported to the Shelby County Detention Center. He has been charged with murder, tampering with physical evidence and fraudulent use of a credit card in Anderson County.

(Post 12 Frankfort) The commercial flight from Arizona was cancelled this morning. The Detectives and the suspect (Terrence Cram) are still in Arizona and should be arriving at Louisville International Airport on Monday June 27, 2011 at 3:05 pm. (Post 12 Frankfort) -- The United States Marshall Service apprehended Terrence Cram on Wednesday June 15, 2011 in Goodyear, Arizona. Terrence Cram waived extradition in Arizona and the Kentucky State Police has flown to Arizona to bring Mr. Cram back to the Commonwealth to answer to the charges of murder, tampering with physical evidence and fraudulent use of a credit card in Anderson County.

The flight will be landing at Louisville International Airport on June 26, 2011 at 10:30 pm. Mr. Cram will be transported to the Franklin County jail and officially charged with the above charges. Any questions contact Det. Kevin Calhoon at (502) 227-2221.

Murder Investigation Apprehension

(Post 12 Frankfort) -- On Wednesday June 15, 2011 Post 12 Detectives at the Kentucky State Police Post in Frankfort received a tip that the suspect Terry Cram was living in Goodyear, Arizona. The Kentucky State Police enlisted the assistance of the Eastern District US Marshalls Service, Marshall Loren "Squirrel" Carl. The information was coordinated with the violent offender task force "WANTED", US Marshalls Service in Arizona and after a brief surveillance detail Mr. Cram was arrested for charges which he was indicted in Anderson County on June 7, 2011 the charges include Murder, Tampering with physical evidence and fraudulent use of a credit card. Terrance Cram will be lodged in Arizona awaiting extradition to Kentucky.

Murder investigation in Anderson County Update

(Post 12 Frankfort) -- The suspect "Terry" Allen Cram remains at large. The investigation has revealed he has used the victim's debit card in multiple states. On Tuesday, January 4, 2011 he used the victim's debit card in Louden, TN. On Wednesday, January 5, 2011 he used the victim's debit card in Perry, GA. On Thursday, January 6, 2011 at 9:24 AM he used the victim's debit card in Live Oak, FL. The Kentucky State Police is working with Law Enforcement in those states in an attempt to locate the suspect. We are also using the media in those states to inform the public of this dangerous suspect. We will continue to update the investigation.

Murder investigation in Anderson County

Date of News Release: 01/10/2011

(Post 12 Frankfort) -- Today the Kentucky State Police Post 12 officially named Terrence "Terry" Allen Cram the suspect in the Murder Investigation in Anderson County. Mr. Cram's date of birth is 08-09-1963, he is thought to be driving a green 2000 Nissan Frontier XE with a camper on the bed. The truck has Kentucky License 137-GGZ. Mr. Cram is considered dangerous and possibly armed. He is currently wanted for murder and warrants have been issued for his arrest.

The victim is Tena L. McNeely 49 years old, she is the daughter of fallen Kentucky State Police Trooper James McNeely. Tpr. McNeely lost his life in the line of duty during a flood rescue in Frankfort in 1971. Ms. McNeely was a resident of Anderson County. The cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head.

The Kentucky State Police is asking for the public's assistance in locating Mr. Cram.

Date of News Release: 01/08/2011

(Post 12 Frankfort) -- On January 7, 2011 at approximately 7:00 pm the Anderson County Sheriff's Department received a call to check the welfare of an individual residing on Clay Burgin Road in Anderson County. Upon Deputies arrival they discovered a deceased person in the residence. The Anderson County Sheriff's Department contacted the Kentucky State Police Post 12 Frankfort to investigate the complaint.

The case is being investigated by the Kentucky State Police Post 12 Frankfort, the manner of death is not known pending the results of a pending autopsy. The name of the victim is not being released until contact with the next of kin. The investigation is ongoing.

Any updates about the investigation will be sent as the investigation continues.
