Anderson County Man Arrested for a Second Time on Meth Charges

(Post 12 Frankfort) -- On Friday, May 06, 2011 at 9:33 PM Kentucky State Police and the Lawrenceburg Police Department responded to an anonymous complaint of a Meth Lab on Puckett Road in Anderson County. At the residence members of Law Enforcement located meth precursors for making meth and arrested Jeffery W. Goodlett, age 36 of Lawrenceburg, KY.

Mr. Goodlett has been charged Manufacturing Methamphetamine 2nd, Unlawful Possession of Meth Precursor 1st and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Frankfort County Regional Jail. Post 12 Kentucky State Police Clandestine Lab response team were called to the scene to dismantle the meth lab. No one was injured and no children were present at the residence.

The investigation is continuing by Kentucky State Police Post 12 Frankfort. Kentucky State Police Post 12 provides police coverage for Anderson, Fayette, Franklin, Scott, Shelby, Spencer and Woodford counties.

Anderson County Meth Lab Arrest

(Post 12 Frankfort) On Monday, November 01, 2010, at 12:05 AM, Kentucky State Police Troopers, Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Lawrenceburg Police Officers discovered an active Meth Lab on Puckett Rd. It all started on late Sunday night October 31 when the agencies teamed up to serve arrest warrants at a residence on Puckett Rd in Anderson County.

The Officers and Troopers arrived at the residence attempting to serve arrest warrants for Assault 4th and Terroristic Threatening when they smelled chemicals consistent with the use of manufacturing of Methamphetamine.

Further investigation lead to discovery of an active Meth Lab and the arrest of Jeffery W. Goodlett, age 36 and Michael T. Jackson, age 30 both of Lawrenceburg, KY. The residence was secured and a search warrant for the residence was obtained. Post 12 Kentucky State Police Clandestine Lab response team were called to the scene to dismantle the meth lab. No one was injured and no children were present at the residence.

Goodlett and Jackson have been lodged in the Franklin County Detention Center. They both have been charged with Manufacturing Meth 1st, Possession of controlled substance (Meth) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The investigation is continuing by Kentucky State Police Post 12 Frankfort.
