Shooting Investigation in Clay County

(LONDON, KY.) –- On Thursday, November 17, 2011 at approximately 10:54 AM, the Kentucky State Police Post 11, London received a report of a shooting at a residence on Roots Branch Road in Clay County.
Upon arrival Trooper Jeff Senters determined that Jeremy Fusner, 21, of Manchester, had assaulted a female at the residence and was forced to leave by other occupants of the home. Fusner returned and subsequently shot two male subjects before fleeing the area.
Both victims were transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries and are listed as stable.
Fusner, who was located in a wooded area of Jackson County near a relative's residence, has been charged with two (2) counts of Assault 1st Degree and one (1) count of Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree in reference to this incident and lodged in the Clay County Jail.
KSP Trooper Jeff Centers is continuing the investigation and was assisted by officers from the Kentucky State Police, the Clay County Sheriff's Department and the Clay County EMS.
