Terroristic threatening arrest in Pulaski County

(London, Ky.) -- On Saturday, January 29, 2011 at approximately 7:00 AM, the Kentucky State Police, Post 11 London, was contacted by the Kentucky State Police Headquarters in reference to Bomb Threats being made to the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital located in the limits of Somerset, Pulaski County.
Trooper Chris Ison responded and learned that threatening calls to the hospital had began at approximately 11:30 PM on Friday, January 28, 2011.
After the initial calls, the hospital was cleared and continued with normal daily operation.
Trooper Ison began an investigation into the incident and was able to identify the phone number being used to make the calls.
Further investigation led Trooper Ison to a residence in Mount Vernon, KY.
Trooper Ison arrested Jeffery Todd Croucher, 46, of Mount Vernon on the charges of one (1) count of Terroristic Threatening 2nd degree, two (2) counts of Terroristic Threatening 3rd degree and five (5) counts of Tampering with Physical Evidence.
Croucher was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.
Trooper Ison is in charge of the investigation and was assisted by Trooper Coby Smith and Sergeant Lafe Owens.
