Post 8 "CRAM THE CRUISER" campaign

Date of News Release: 12/03/2010

(Morehead, Ky.) -- Post 8-Morehead along with all other posts across the state is conducting the "CRAM THE CRUISER" campaign which takes place from December 5 through December 11. Post 8-Morehead is accepting non-perishable food items to be given to local shelters, churches and people in need. Post 8-Morehead had a State Police cruiser weighed by KSP Division of Commercial Vehicle Enforcement prior to the start of the campaign. Once the cruiser is filled with food items the cruiser will be weighed again and compared with other posts across the state to see which post obtained the most food items. Post 8-Morehead strongly encourages everyone to participate and show your communities giving heart during this campaign. Anyone who wants to participate needs to drop off the non-perishable items at Post 8 Morehead.
