Drug Arrest in Montgomery County

(Morehead, Ky.) -- Following an anonymous tip received by the Kentucky State Police, Trooper Jeremy Hamm and Trooper Anson Tribby were dispatched to a residence on Darley Creek in Mt. Sterling. Allegations that three children were living in the presence of drug usage and trafficking proved correct when a search of the residence resulted in the seizure of marijuana, prescription pills, and drug paraphernalia.
In addition to the arrest of Todd Igo, charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense and Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree 1st Offense, John and Stacy Hoffman were issued citations for Trafficking in Marijuana less than 8oz. and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Karen Staton was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Workers from Montgomery County Protection and Permanency also responded and removed the children from the residence. The case remains under investigation by Trooper Hamm and Trooper Tribby.
