DUI Injury Collision on Smith Pike Road in Fleming County

(Morehead, Ky.) -- On October 17 2010, at 1927 hours Kentucky State Police Morehead, received a call from Fleming County Emergency Dispatch to respond to a two vehicle injury accident on Smith Pike Road in Fleming County. Sgt. Rob Conn, Trooper Eugene Robinson, and Trooper Michael Armstrong responded to the accident. Mr. Hesper Ray Bush was traveling northbound on Smith Pike Road and struck Regene Gorman's vehicle head on who were traveling southbound. Mr. Bush and Mrs. Gorman as well as the two occupants in her vehicle were transported to Fleming County Medical Center. Mrs. Gorman was later transported to UK Hospital. The others were treated and released. Mr. Bush was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and lodged at Mason County Detention Center. The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Robinson.
