Non-Injury DUI Collision on I-64 in Rowan County

(Morehead, Ky.) -- At 3:16 am Kentucky State Police Morehead received a call for service of an overturned tractor trailer on Interstate 64 at the 135 mile marker in Rowan County. Daniel Dehaven of, 38, of Chesapeake, Va. was traveling westbound on Interstate 64 when the vehicle he was operating lost control and overturned on the northbound side of Interstate 64. Mr. Dehaven was taken into custody for driving under the influence of alcohol and was lodged at the Rowan County Detention Center. One lane of Interstate 64 remains closed at this time. A clean up crew is en-route to offload the trailer and to clean up the accident scene. Interstate 64 remains closed for an undetermined amount of time while clean up continues.
