Wolfe County Escapee

(Morehead, Ky.) -- KSP Post 8 Morehead Trooper Britt Rollins served a Morgan County Bench Warrant of arrest for failure to appear on original charge of Flagrant Non-Support on Robert Lee Dunn in Wolfe County. Mr. Dunn was turned over to the Wolfe County Jailer who set up a relay with the Morgan County Jailer off KY205 in Wolfe County. During the prisoner exchange Mr. Dunn escaped from the jailers custody and fled into a wooded area off Ky205 in Helechewa. Trooper Rollins was contacted by Wolfe County Dispatch later advising Mr. Dunn had escaped from custody during the prisoner exchange and that he had fled on foot. Post 8 Units responded and conducted a search of the area but was unable to locate Mr. Dunn. The incident remains under investigation by Trooper Britt Rollins.
