Trafficking in Controlled Substance Investigation

(Morehead, Ky.) -- Trooper Chris Sizemore U/565 obtained information of confidential information of trafficking during traffic stop in Stanton Ky., which led to a search warrant being issued for the home of Clinton Muncie in Clay City, Ky. Trooper Kenny Yarber U/800, Trooper Chris Sizemore U/565, Clay City Police Department, Stanton Police Department and the Powell County Sheriffs Department executed the court ordered search on the residence. 153 prescription pills, 2 firearms, $ 348.00 in small bills, and a police radio were seized during the execution of the warrant. Clinton Muncie and Brian Muncie were charged with trafficking in controlled substance 1st degree, trafficking in a controlled substance within 1000 yards of a school, trafficking in a legend drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a radio that sends/receives police messages. Both subjects are lodged in the Powell County Detention Center awaiting arraignment. The case is under investigation by Trooper Chris Sizemore U/565.
