Rowan County Meth Lab Investigation and Arrests

(Morehead, Ky.) -- On 4/13/10 Trooper Chris Jones received information on the location of a possible meth lab at 156 Fallen Timber Lane in Clearfield. Trooper Jones and Deputy Donnie Hall with the Rowan County Sheriff's Office went to the scene to conduct an investigation and discovered the meth lab. Jason Wright of Clearfield was arrested and charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine as well as DUI 1st, Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd and Failure to Notify DOT of Address Change. Two other subjects were also arrested at the scene. Brad Phillips was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mary Phillips was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. There were two children at the residence who were removed by Rowan County Social Services. All three subjects are being lodged at the Rowan County Detention Center. The case remains under investigation by Trooper Chris Jones.
