Stabbing Investigation in Powell County

(Morehead, Ky.) -- At 7 PM on 01/09/10, Brian Lacy went to his neighbors residence where he was involved in a physical altercation with Brian Epperson. During the struggle Mr. Lacy pulled a pocket knife and attempted to stab Mr. Epperson but missed and stabbed himself in the chest instead. Brian Lacy attempted to stab Mr. Epperson again striking him in the arm before the parties were separated. Brian Epperson was treated on scene by Powell County EMS for a superficial wound to his arm but was not transported to a hospital. Brian Lacy was taken to the U. K. Medical Center in Lexington where he was treated and released and is being lodged in the Powell County Jail. The assault is still under investigation by Tpr. Charles Bolin Unit 467.
