Nicholasville man faces several charges

(Nicholasville, Ky.) -- Kentucky State Police have arrested Quentin Overstreet, age 23 of Nicholasville, after KSP Troopers and officers of the Nicholasville Police Department executed a search warrant at his residence on Arrowhead Drive, Nicholasville. Several stolen items were recovered from the residence that include a 2009 Honda motorcycle, a 2006 Polaris ATV, along with five handguns. Crack cocaine and controlled substances were also found inside the residence. KSP has charged Overstreet with Receiving Stolen Property Under $10,000 (2 counts), Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon (5 counts), Defacing a Firearm, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st, and Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd. Overstreet was lodged in the Jessamine County Detention Center. This arrest is in connection with the search for Paul David Brown, whom police believed to have been staying at the Overstreet residence. Brown, who has several outstanding arrest warrants in four Central Kentucky counties, was not located. The investigation by Trooper Michael Keeton and the Nicholasville Police Department is ongoing.
