KSP Investigates Madison County Collision

(Richmond, Ky.) -- Kentucky State Police Post 7 Richmond is investigating a two-vehicle collision with injuries that occurred on US 25 (Lexington Road) north of Richmond. Goebel Ford, age 59 of Lexington, operating a 2005 Volvo sedan, was traveling south on US 25 when he apparently starting having chest pains. Ford crossed over the centerline and sideswiped a 2005 Cadillac sedan being operated by Robert Wale, age 39 of Richmond. After impact the Ford vehicle struck a tree. Wale's vehicle then struck a chain link fence in front of a residence. Ford was transported to the UK Medical Center. Wale and his passenger, Braxton Stone, age three, was secured in a child safety and not injured.
