5 Year Old Killed in a Two Vehicle Collision in Lincoln County

(Hustonville, Ky.) -- Kentucky State Police Post 7 Richmond, are investigating a fatal two-car collision which occurred at 7:58 a.m., in the Lincoln County community of Hustonville. The collision occurred at the intersection of US 127 and KY 2141 at Hustonville. Gordon Kaiser, age 38 of Hustonville was traveling North on US 127. Kaiser was operating a 2002 Toyota Sequoia. Amy Vonlinger, age 31 of Hustonville was traveling on KY 2141 in a 1997 Dodge Intrepid. Ms. Vonlinger apparently merged onto US 127 directly into the path of Mr. Kaiser. The Kaiser vehicle struck the passenger doors of the Vonlinger car, and pushed it into a guardrail. West Lincoln County EMS responded to the scene and transported Ms. Vonlinger, and her five-year old daughter, Ryllie, to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Ryllie Vonlinger was pronounced dead at Ephraim McDowell RMC by the Boyle County Coroner's Office. Kaiser was not injured. A KSP Collision Reconstructionist has responded to the scene and will assist with the investigation. The collision remains under investigation by Trooper Rodney Wren and Sergeant Starlin Hacker. Next-of-kin have been notified.
