Armed Robbery at Corinth Marathon in Grant County

Date of News Release: 11/28/2010

(Corinth, Ky.) -- On Sunday, November 28, 2010 at approximately 5:00 AM, a male subject wearing a blue and black flannel jacket, a blue ski mask, and blue jeans entered the Corinth Marathon station. The subject brandished a knife and demanded money and cigarettes from the clerk. The subject fled the station on foot with approximately $300 and five cartons of cigarettes.

At approximately 6:10 AM, responding officers from the Kentucky State Police, the Grant County Sheriff's Department, and the Williamstown Police Department located Golden Hall, 31, Corinth on foot approximately one mile from the gas station. Mr. Hall was arrested and charged with Robbery First Degree. He is lodged in the Grant County Detention Center and the incident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Detective Scott Lengle.
