One Killed in a Single Vehicle Collision in Bourbon County

(Dry Ridge, Ky.) -- On February 21, 2010 at approximately 2130 hours, Kentucky State Police, Bourbon County Sheriff's Department and the Paris Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident at approximately the 730 block of Hume-Bedford Road in Paris. Mr. Thomas G. Richardson, 21 years of age, of Lexington was driving a 2002 Ford Ranger while traveling eastbound on Hume-Bedford Road. Mr. Richardson's vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway while approaching a left curve and subsequently struck a tree off the northbound side of the road. Mr. Richardson was air-lifted to the University of Kentucky Hospital where he was pronounced dead by the Fayette County Coroner, Miles White at 0210 hours on February 22, 2010. The accident remains under investigation by Trooper David Holland.
