Gallatin County man arrested

(Warsaw, Ky.) -- The Kentucky State Police, Post 5, has arrested a Gallatin County man for sexually abusing a 10 year old boy. Through investigation, it was determined that Robert Schooler, 35 years old from Warsaw, engaged in inappropriate sexual contact with a 10 year old boy. Preliminary information indicates that the abuse may have taken place in Mr. Schooler's home during a several month period including October 2010.

Mr. Schooler was arrested today (11/24/2010) at 3:36 p.m. and charged with Sodomy, 1st Degree - Victim less than 12 years old. Sodomy 1st Degree is a class A Felony punishable by a sentence of not less than 20 years in prison. Mr. Schooler is lodged in the Carroll County Detention facility.

Detective Steve Goodale is leading the ongoing investigation.
