Meth Arrests in Gallatin County

(Gallatin County, Ky.) -- Troopers at Post 5, Campbellsburg have increased enforcement efforts to combat a rise in methamphetamine production in the post area. Undercover operations and interdiction efforts have led to the discovery of numerous methamphetamine labs in Gallatin county since late August. The Kentucky State Police have arrested 18 individuals with meth related charges including manufacturing methamphetamine. The rise in the number of labs and arrests in Gallatin County is consistent with a trend seen statewide.

September 2, 2010 KSP arrested Jack Stacy (25 year-old white male), Heather Daulton (30 year-old white female), and Cinda Townsend (35 year-old white female), all from Warsaw. They were arrested after a meth lab was discovered at 3320 KY 455 near Warsaw. They were lodged in the Carroll County detention facility with the following charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree Meth, Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree Drug Unspecified, Possession of Marijuana, Manufacturing Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

KSP then located a meth lab at Country Boys Auto located at 116 South Main Street in Glencoe. Justin Hardin (26 year-old white male) and Albert Collins (36 year-old white male) were arrested at that location and charged with the following: Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Controlled Substance, 1st Degree Meth, Unlawful Possession of a Meth Precursor, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Tampering with Physical Evidence. Both were also lodged in the Carroll County detention facility.

Another meth lab was discovered at 4465 Dry Creek Road in Warsaw. Christopher Wilhoite (27 year-old white male) from Corinth was arrested and charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Joey Sullivan (22 year-old white male) from Sparta was also arrested and charged Manufacturing Methamphetamine Enhanced by Firearm Possession and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Trooopers Brandon Maupin and Justin Sams continue to lead the ongoing interdiction efforts in the area for KSP.
