Injury Collision on the I-65

(Elizabethtown, Ky.) -- On October 24, 2010 at 3:47 PM, Kentucky State Police Post 4 received a report of an injury accident on Interstate 65 near the 78 mile marker south bound. Upon initial investigation troopers discovered that a 2002 Toyota Rav4 operated by a Terri Pasden, age 47 of Canal Winchester, Ohio was traveling southbound on Interstate 65 near the 78 mile marker when for an unknown reason the vehicle lost control and crossed the median into north bound traffic striking a 2006 Chevy Cobalt, operated by a John Mills, age 62 of Demossville, Kentucky before leaving the shoulder of the roadway and overturning several times. Ms. Pasden was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital and later transferred to University of Louisville Hospital with Life Threatening Injuries. A passenger in Ms. Pasden's vehicle, Monica Pasden, age 23, was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital with Minor Injuries. No injuries where reported from the occupants of the Cobalt. The accident is under investigation by Trooper Brian Mouser.
