One Injured in a Single Vehicle Collision on KY88

(Elizabethtown, Ky.) -- On August 17, 2010, at 4:16 pm EDT, the Kentucky State Police, at Post 4 Elizabethtown, was called to respond to an injury accident on KY88, 2 miles east of Clarkson. Trooper Brad Riley investigated the accident. Trooper Riley reported that a 2001 Dodge Neon, operated by Deborah F. Wilson (age 36 of Leitchfield, KY), was traveling east on KY88, as it approached the KY1214 intersection, when the vehicle left roadway via the right shoulder, traveled 130 feet, and struck a utility pole. The vehicle operator suffered serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries and was transported to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center. Trooper Riley was assisted at the accident scene by the Grayson County Sheriff's Office, the Clarkson Fire Department, and the Grayson County EMS.
