Injury Accident on N. Grandview Church Road

(Elizabethtown, Ky.) -- On July 13, 2010, at 7:25 pm EDT, troopers from the Kentucky State Police Post in Elizabethtown were called to the scene of a serious injury accident on N Grandview Church Rd, 4 miles west of Howe Valley. Units reported that Frank L. Cornett (age 63 of London, Ky) was operating a bicycle on northbound S Grandview Church Rd, when he veered into the path of a southbound 1994 Saturn SC2, operated by Billy R. Adams (age 49 of Leitchfield, Ky). Frank Cornett suffered life threatening injuries and was transported to the University of Louisville Hospital by Air Methods Air Ambulance. Billy Adams was not injured.
