Fatal Collision on Ky 313

(Elizabethtown, Ky.) -- On June 6, 2010, at approximately 8:00, the Hardin Co. Sheriff's Office got in pursuit with a vehicle, a 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander, which was travelling north on KY 313. The vehicle was operated by Brandon Lee Jessie,24, of Knob Lick, KY, which was airlifted from the scene with serious injuries, and when the pursued vehicle went through the intersection of KY 313 and US 31W, it struck another vehicle. That vehicle, a 1995 Lincoln Town Car, operated by James E. Fentress, Jr., 36, of Elizabethtown, was pronounced dead at the scene. The two vehicles, collided with a third vehicle, a 1997, Chrysler Town and Country van, operated by Billy N. Farley, 48, of Radcliff, KY, whom was travelling south on KY 313, and was preparing to turn right on US 31W. Mr. Farley sustained serious injuries and was airlifted from Hardin Memorial Hospital to University Hospital. The other occupants in the van were, Suk C. Farley, 57, of Radcliff, minor injuries, Lee Joe Farley, 21, of Radcliff, minor injuries, and Josue Cruz, 19, of Radcliff, minor injuries, transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital. The accident is under investigation by Det. Terry Whitaker.
