One injured in a two vehicle collision on KY 1816

(Elizabethtown, Ky.) -- On Saturday, May 08, 2010, at 09:41 a.m. Kentucky State Police received a call from Meade County dispatch regarding an injury accident at the intersection of KY1882 and KY1816. Unit 1, a 2006 Ford pickup, driven by Jeffrey Lincoln of Vine Grove, KY was traveling on KY1882 and stopped at the intersection with KY1816. Unit 2, a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by Michael Clement of Vine Grove, KY was traveling south on KY1816. The driver of unit 1 stated he did not see the motorcycle and proceeded through the intersection and was struck by unit 2. Michael Clement was transported to University of Louisville Hospital by Air Methods with non life threatening injuries. Trooper Pete Binkley is investigating the accident.
