Reckless Driving Pursuit and Arrest in Hardin County

(Elizabethtown, Ky.) -- On April 10, 2010 at 3:21 P.M. Eastern time Kentucky State Police, Elizabethtown post received a complaint of subjects riding dirt bikes, and firing shots into the air on Cochise Ct. in Sun and Fun mobile home park in Hardin county. While out at a residence on Cochise Ct. Tpr. Scott Brown and Tpr. Justin Spears witnessed a 1983 Chevy truck driving in a reckless manner. Tpr. Brown attempted to make contact with the operator Adam Puckett, a 20 year of age white male of Rineyville, KY. After exiting the vehicle Mr. Puckett attempted to flee from the scene on foot. Mr. Puckett was apprehended a short time later and charged with operating on a suspended license, failure to wear seatbelts, no registration receipt, no registration plates, reckless driving, license to be in possession, operating under the influence second offense, failure to maintain insurance, fleeing or evading first degree. Mr. Puckett was lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center. Tpr. Justin Spears was the arresting officer.
