One Injured in a Single Vehicle Collision on KY313

(Elizabethtown, Ky.) -- Unit 1, a 2001 Ford F150, was traveling northbound on KY313 at approximately the 8mm. Witnesses stated that the driver of the vehicle swerved to the right and then over-corrected to the left. The vehicle then rotated counter clockwise while crossing the southbound lane. Vehicle exited the roadway to the west while sliding sideways causing the vehicle to leave the roadway and overturn ejecting the driver from the vehicle.

The driver, Travis Stepp, WM, 26 of Louisville, Ky., was air lifted to the University of Louisville hospital where he is listed with serious but non life threatening injuries. The accident is being investigated by Trooper Joshua Cummings, KSP Post 4 of Elizabethtown.
