Fatal Collision on I-65 in Warren County

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- Samantha Robb was traveling southbound in the middle lane of Interstate 65 in Warren County at the 31 mile marker. According to the front seat passenger of Ms. Robb's vehicle, the vehicle sustained tire deflation. Ms. Robb lost control of the vehicle, veered right, and exited the right shoulder of the interstate. Ms. Robb's vehicle then impacted with an earthen embankment and overturned multiple times. Ms. Robb's vehicle came to final rest right side up on the right shoulder with its front end facing the median wall. The middle and third row bench seat occupants of Ms. Robb's vehicle were ejected. All occupants were transported by Medcom EMS to the Medical Center in Bowling Green. Ms. Robb, and third row passenger, Douglas Robb, II, were flown to the University of Louisville Hospital and are listed in serious and stable condition. The middle row passenger, Elizabeth Robb, was pronounced deceased at the Medical Center. The front seat passenger, Douglas Robb, was treated for minor injuries and released from the Medical Center. Neither Samantha Robb, Elizabeth Robb, nor Douglas Robb II were wearing seatbelts. The collision remains under investigation by Tpr. Mayfield.
