Drug Arrest in Hart County

(Bowling Green, Ky.) -- KSP units responded to a residence on Cub Run Highway in Hart County in reference to a tip of marijuana being grown at this location. Upon arrival of KSP units 4 plants were located on the back porch of the residence. The homeowner Timothy Thompson was located at the residence and gave KSP consent to search the residence. While searching the property the homeowner unlocked a storage building on the property and 175 plants were located. Timothy Thompson was taken into custody without incident and lodged in the Hart County Detention Center. He was charged with cultivating marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
