Injury collision on I-24 in Webster County

Date of News Release: 11/24/2010

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Mr. Jason Hernandez was traveling northbound on US 41A at the intersection of the I-24 Westbound Exit Ramp. Ms. Samnise Arnold was also traveling northbound on US 41A, behind Mr. Hernandez. Mr. Hernandez slowed to avoid hitting a vehicle that stopped abruptly in front of his vehicle. Ms. Arnold also slowed to avoid a collision, but was unable to do so due to the wet roadway. The front bumper of Ms. Arnold's vehicle struck the left rear bumper of Mr. Hernandez's vehicle, causing minor damage. A passenger in Ms. Arnold's vehicle, Corsica Arnold, was transported by ambulance to Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, TN, for injuries sustained as a result of the collision.
