Webster County Drug Arrest

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- On November 23, 2010, Troopers from the Kentucky State Police, with assistance from the Providence Police Department, executed a search warrant at the business of Deb's Smokehouse in Providence, KY. Upon execution of the search warrant, the owners of the business, Deborah and Lucian Townsell, were found to be in possession of more than 500 packages of suspected Synthetic Cannabinoid Agonist. Along with the drug evidence located, there was a large amount of paraphernalia associated with the use of marijuana or synthetic marijuana. Deborah Townsell was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Synthetic Cannabinoid Agonist, Delivering or manufacturing Drug Paraphernalia. Lucian Townsell was arrested and charged with 3 counts of Trafficking in Synthetic Cannabinoid Agonist, Delivering or manufacturing Drug Paraphernalia and James M Townsell was arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd degree, 1st offense and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. All three were lodged in the Webster County Detention Center.
