Three injured in a two vehicle DUI collision on KY 112

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Ricky Holzhauser was traveling north on when he entered the southbound lane of travel. Jahanna Almon was traveling south on KY 112 and could not avoid a collision with Mr. Holzhauser. Mr. Holzhauser and his passenger, Paula Terry, were ejected from the motorcycle and the motorcycle slid across the roadway coming to final rest off the northbound shoulder of the road. Ms. Almon's vehicle came to final rest in the southbound lane. Ms. Almon, Mr. Holzhauser and Ms. Terry were all transported to Regional Medical Center by Medical Center EMS for treatment of their injuries. Mr. Holzhauser was later transported to St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville, IN for further treatment. None of Ms. Almons passengers were injured. Mr. Holzhauser was charged with DUI 3rd Offense (Aggravated), Driving on DUI Suspended License 1st Offense and Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree.
