Two Arrested on Drug Charges in Hopkins County

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Kentucky State Police Post 2 units were conducting a traffic safety checkpoint on KY115 at the intersection of Jeff Davis Highway. During the traffic safety checkpoint, Courtney B. Graves pulled up operating a Ford F-150. Trooper Jermaine Savage began speaking with Ms. Graves and her passenger, Adam Young. While out with Ms. Graves and Mr. Young, Trooper Savage discovered that they were in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Courtney B. Graves was charged with License to be in Possession, No Insurance, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Adam Young was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both were lodged in the Todd County Detention Center.
