Three Arrested on Meth Charges

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- On Saturday, September 25, 2010, at approximately 12:07 A.M., Kentucky State Police, with the assistance of the Christian County Sheriffs Office, were conducting a Pre-Approved Traffic Safety Checkpoint in Christian County, KY. During investigation, Scott Parsons and Steven Garl were found to have an active Methamphetamine lab in the vehicle they were operating. Trooper Smith arrested both subjects and received information from them in reference to items located in a nearby hotel room they had rented. Upon arrival at the hotel room, Trooper Smith made contact with Michael Salmen, the owner of the vehicle stopped at the checkpoint. As a result of searching the hotel room, Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia were located. Mr. Salmen was also arrested charged. All three subjects were processed and lodged in the Christian County Detention Center.
