Felony Arrest in Christian County

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Trooper Sawyer observed a motorcycle traveling westbound on I-24 near the 91 mile marker, traveling at 113 mph. Trooper Sawyer and Officer Johnston attempted to stop the vehicle near the 89mm on I-24 and the vehicle failed to yield to the units. The vehicle exited I-24 onto US41A northbound and continued until reaching Martin Luther King Blvd. The motorcycle then traveled eastbound on US68 and entered the limits of Hopkinsville. The vehicle then entered the Pennyrile Parkway at the 9 mile marker and continued southbound until exiting at the 8 mile marker. The vehicle then traveled northbound on US41 and then re-entered the Pennyrile Parkway at the 9 mile marker. The vehicle went southbound before exiting off the Parkway onto Lovers Lane exit that is under construction. Units apprehended James Edward Webb Jr. after he turned onto Bilyeu Drive which was a dead end street. James Edward Webb Jr. of Summerville, SC was charged with Speeding 26 MPH or over, Fleeing and Evading 1st (Vehicle), Reckless Driving, Failure to or Improper Signal, Disregard Traffic Control Device, Improper Passing, Improper Use of Left Lane, Operating on Suspended or Revoked Operator's License, Resisting Arrest, and Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree.
