One Injured in a Three Vehicle Collision on I-24

Date of News Release: 04/14/2010

(Christian County) -- Mr. David E. Tanner, Chris D. Allen and Kevan C. Mills were heading eastbound on I-24 in Christian County when they came upon the construction zone around the 91 mile-marker. Mr. Tanner and Mr. Allen were applying their brakes to slow down because of traffic. Mr. Mills also applied his brakes when he saw that traffic was coming to a stop but was unable to complete a full stop before making contact with the rear of Mr. Allen's vehicle. The collision pushed Mr. Allen's vehicle forward into the rear of Mr. Tanner's motorcycle. Mr. Allen had to receive medical attention on scene and was then transported by Christian County EMS to Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville Tennessee. All three vehicles were damaged in the collision, but no other injuries were reported other than Mr. Allen.
