Burglary Arrest in Muhlenberg County

(Madisonville, Ky) -- On Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at approximately 8:50 p.m., Muhlenberg County Central Dispatch dispatched a call of a burglary in progress on Kennedy Jones Avenue in Drakesboro. Trooper Jerry Knight, who was patrolling in the area, responded to the call. Upon arriving at the scene, Trooper Knight located a lawn mower that was running outside of the residence. The suspect, Timothy G. Lindsay, age 33 of Drakesboro, KY, was seen by Trooper Knight exiting the residence. Mr. Lindsay was arrested without incident and charged with Burglary 2nd Degree, DUI 2nd Offense, Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd Degree 1st Offense, and Prescription Controlled Substance Not In Proper Container 1st Offense. He was lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center. Trooper Brandon McPherson and the Muhlenberg County Sheriff's Department assisted Trooper Knight.
