One Injured in a Single Vehicle Collision on KY 70

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Ricky Romans was operating his 1987 Chevrolet S10 pickup west on KY 70 west. As Romans drove over a hillcrest he saw another vehicle in the west bound lane. Romans abruptly applied his brakes and his truck began to skid out of control. Romans vehicle exited the right shoulder of the roadway. Romans vehicle came to final rest after striking a tree. Mr. Romans was transported to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment of his injuries. Trooper Jerry Knight was assisted by Trooper Craig Engler, Muhlenberg County Ems and the Bremen Volunteer Fire Department.
