Felony Drug Arrest in Hopkins County
Date of News Release: 02/25/2010
(Madisonville, Ky.) -- On Wednesday, February 24, 2010, Trooper First Class John Komar was dispatched to assist Hopkins County Probation & Parole on a home visit. The location was a residence on Livingston Road in Hanson. TFC Komar and the probation & parole officers located marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and firearms inside the residence. The owner of the property, Steve Davis age 57 of Hanson, KY, was arrested and charged with the following:
Possession of Marijuana (A Misdemeanor)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st Offense (A Misdemeanor)
Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon (D Felony)
Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon (C Felony)
His brother, Gary Davis age 53 of Madisonville, KY, was charged with:
Possession of Marijuana (A Misdemeanor)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st Offense (A Misdemeanor)Both men were lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center.
