Two Injured in a Single Vehicle Collision on KY 1380

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Jonathan Holskey, age 28 of Central City, KY, was operating a 2007 Chevrolet Impala westbound on KY 1380 (Paradise Road). Mr. Holskey's vehicle was traveling down a hill that was covered with snow and ice. The vehicle lost traction causing Mr. Holskey to lose control. He attempted to regain control of the vehicle, but was unable to do so. The vehicle exited the right shoulder of the roadway and struck a ditch. It reentered the roadway and crossed both lanes of travel. The vehicle exited the left shoulder of the roadway and struck a ditch where it came to rest. Both Mr. Holskey and his passenger, Claude Hall, age 32 of Drakesboro, KY, were transported by ambulance to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment. Both men were wearing seat belts. Trooper Jerry Knight investigated the crash that occurred on February 10, 2010 at approximately 8:10 p.m. The Greenville Fire Department & Muhlenberg County EMS assisted at the scene.
