One Injured in a Single Vehicle Collision on Pennyrile Parkway

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Donald Feistel was traveling southbound on the Pennyrile Parkway, approaching the fifty-two mile marker. Mr. Feistel's vehicle left the right shoulder of the roadway, traveling down an embankment. The right front tire then dropped off the embankment into a ditch, causing the vehicle to overturn onto the driver's side. The top of the vehicle then made contact with a tree, where the vehicle came to rest against the tree on its left side facing southwest. Mr. Feistel was extricated from the vehicle by emergency personnel, and transported by ambulance to Regional Medical Center for injuries sustained as a result of the collision.
