Two Injured in a Single Vehicle Collision on KY 176

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Tommy Robinson, age 63 of Drakesboro, KY, was operating a 1998 Chevrolet Lumina on KY 176 when his vehicle hydroplaned on the wet roadway causing him to lose control. It exited the right shoulder of the roadway and struck a concrete culvert. The vehicle came to rest in a ditch off the roadway. Mr. Robinson and his passenger, Lynnette Robinson, age 64 of Drakesboro, KY, were transported to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment. Neither was wearing a seat belt. Trooper Jerry Knight investigated the crash. The Greenville Fire Department and Muhlenberg County EMS assisted at the scene.
