Felony Arrest in Muhlenberg County

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Trooper Knight was responding to the scene of a motor vehicle collision that occurred in the 7000 block of KY70 West. While Trooper Knight was en route, KSP Post 2 received another call that a female driver had left the scene in a maroon passenger car. Trooper Knight located the vehicle at the intersection of KY70 West and KY181 North. Ms. Patalyn G. Thompson age 42 gave Trooper Knight a false name and information while being interviewed. Ms. Thompson eventually gave the correct information to Trooper Knight. Ms. Thompson was arrested for the charges of 1) Leave the Scene of an Accident, 2) Giving Police False Name or Address, 3) Driving DUI Suspended License-1st offense (Aggravated Circumstances) & 4) DUI 4th offense and was lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
