KSP Arrest Grand Rivers Woman for Wanton Endangerment

(Grand Rivers, Ky.) -- Kentucky State Police arrested a Grand Rivers woman after her 15-month-old son was found walking along Depot Street in Grand Rivers on Tuesday morning. At around 11:30 AM, Kentucky State Police were called by a resident of Depot Street who located the small child walking in the road wearing a diaper and a t-shirt. The resident told Troopers that she thought the child belonged to Crystal Cantrell who lived next door. Troopers located the 31-year-old Cantrell at her home and placed her under arrest for wanton endangerment 1st degree. Cantrell also had outstanding warrants from Marshall and McCracken Counties. Cantrell was lodged in the McCracken County Jail. State Police was assisted by the Livingston County Department of Social Services and the Livingston County Emergency Medical Services. The investigation is continuing by Trooper T.J. Williams of the Kentucky State Police.
