Five Injured in a Two Vehicle Collision on US 68

(Hickory, Ky.) -- The Kentucky State Police responded to a two vehicle collision on US 68 East and Moors Camp Highway in Marshall County. Mr. Homer Broyles was traveling east on US 68 when he went to make a left turn onto Moors Camp Highway. Mr. Broyles proceeded to turn left and into the path of Ms. Nicole Bogard's vehicle. Ms. Bogard was unable to stop, striking Mr. Broyles vehicle on the passenger side. Mr. Broyles and his passenger (Nigel Broyles) were transported to the Western Baptist Hospital for their injuries. Ms. Bogard and two juveniles were transported to the Marshall County Hospital for their injuries. The collision is being investigated by Trooper Eric Fields and he was assisted at the scene by the Marshall County EMS, Marshall County Sheriff's Department, Palma/Briensburg Fire Department, East Marshall Fire Department.
