Two Injured in a Two Vehicle DUI Collision

(Hickory, Ky.) -- Michael Manning was traveling west on US 68 approaching the Barkley Bridge. Michael Robidoux was in a parking area by the bridge. Mr. Robidoux pulled into the path of Mr. Manning causing a head-on collision. Both vehicles came to final rest in the roadway. Mr. Manning and Mr. Robidoux were transported to the Trigg County Hospital by Trigg County EMS. Mr. Manning suffered multiple injuries and was admitted to the hospital. After Mr. Robidoux was treated for his injuries and released, he was arrested and charged with DUI 1st degree, Failure to Maintain Insurance, and Possession of Open Alcohol Container. Mr. Robidoux was lodged in the Christian County Jail. Trooper Clinkenbeard was assisted at the scene by the Trigg County Sheriff's Department, Trigg County Rescue, and Trigg County EMS. The investigation continues by Trooper Clinkenbeard.
