DUI Collision on Barber Road in Graves County

Date of News Release: 07/29/2010

(Hickory, Ky.) -- Jeffery L. Jackson was traveling northbound on Barber Road, approximately 2 miles South of the Lynnville community. Mr. Jackson attempted to negotiate a curve but lost control of the vehicle. Mr. Jackson traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch and earth embankment. Mr. Jackson sustained minor injuries from the collision, and was transported to Jackson Purchase Medical Center Emergency Room by Mayfield - Graves County EMS. Mr. Jackson was also cited for Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of alcohol/drugs/etc., 1st offense. Trooper Nall was assisted on scene by Mayfield - Graves County EMS and the Graves County Sheriff's Office. The investigation continues by Trooper Kyle Nall of the Kentucky State Police.
