DUI Collision and Arrest in Graves County

(Hickory, Ky.) -- Deputy Warner was south bound on US 45, stopped at a red light at the intersection of the Dick Castleman 121 Bypass. Mr. Richard L. Hamm was travelling south bound on US 45, failed to stop, and collided with the rear end of Deputy Warner's cruiser. Mr. Hamm was transported by Mayfield-Graves County EMS to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for injuries sustained in the accident. Deputy Warner remained uninjured. Mr. Hamm was cited into court for Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence 1st Offense. Trooper Nall was assisted on scene by the Mayfield Police Department, Graves County Sheriff's Department, and Mayfield-Graves County EMS. The investigation is continuing by Trooper Nall.
